VPF training course - Principle of fluid bearings and machine diagnosis on plain bearings and turbomachines
Analysing a machine on plain bearings leads one to understand various phenomena: the symptoms of faults on the plain bearings on the one hand, the dynamic behaviour of the rotors on the other hand, and finally interpreting the signals coming from the relative displacement probes.

Staff having good knowledge of vibratory diagnosis.

  • Pre-requisite: Vi, VD or VMD training courses
  • Acquire knowledge of the technology and the sizing of controlled bearings
  • Understand the operation and dynamic behaviour of machines on fluid, hydrostatic and hydrodynamic bearings
  • Carry out the diagnosis by means of vibratory analysis of the machines on fluid bearings
  • Complementarity of the technological aspect dealt with by SAMR and the vibratory behaviour by Dynae
  • Visual analysis of shells with faults
